Fallout 4 Legendary Mirelurk vs Legendary Raider

Legendary Mirelurk VS Legendary Raider, ding ding ding!

Here we have round 2: a mashup between a deceptively spry Legendary Mirelurk - a veritable moving boulder with rock-crushing pincers and an indomitable shell - and a Legendary Raider - armed with an enhanced pipe pistol and the will to survive. This is a semi-balanced mashup with the edge leaning in the Mirelurk's corner. For some strange reason this fight made me think of the Never Ending Story 2 and question what would have happened to the main kid (Bastion) if he hadn't been saved from those strange crab creatures. Wait, that movie was lame and I certainly didn't go buy it for my kids when the DVD combo came out... o_O

In the left corner:

  • Name: Legendary Mirelurk
  • Height: ~3' 9"
  • Weight: ~350lbs
  • Weapon: powerful pincers and a thick shell
  • Style: Mike Tyson (swings at your head and body with powerful pincers, but occasionally gets angry and bashes in your ears like a punk with its shell)
  • Hobbies: bathing in whatever sludge filled waterway it can find, playing hide and seek with its prey, imitating boulders just for the heck of it, and pondering why he always loses when playing rock-paper-scissors

In the right corner:

  • Name: Legendary Raider
  • Height: ~6'1"
  • Weight: ~175lbs
  • Weapon: Enhanced Pipe Pistol
  • Style: Melee Marksman (takes shots whenever he sees an opening, pistol whips when in close proximity, and doesn't know when to quit)
  • Hobbies: robbing caravans and traveling traders, patrolling abandoned quarries, and poking caged Mirelurks with a stick.

In the end the Mirelurk is still standing while the Raider is fish food. It was a decent match as far as wasteland standards go - the Mirelurk kept its opponent on the ropes for most of the bout, but the Raider got in a few good hits and triggered the Mirelurks half-health mutation right at the end. What's left for this Legendary Mirelurk? I've seen it eyeing Sully Mathis a few times...
