The consequences of saving this utterly unremarkable NPC.
For any of you who wondered whether or not it was wise to let Jules live when Fred and Angie were going to dispatch him with extreme prejudice, wondered if doing so meant you were bound to set in motion an event that would bring about unintended misery to your personal wasteland and the inhabitants therein, or at the very least give you pause whenever a noise echoes from behind you when exploring the dark recesses of Boston's numerous ruins. Let me clear your conscience by setting the record straight. It won't. In fact just giving Jules that much consideration is giving the 1990's era equivalent AI that runs this NPC's behavior way too much credit. He is, for all intents and purposes - and pardon my French - an idiot. Incapable of even defending himself against a mole rat (that's right, a small hairless subterranean beaver), this synth's survival instincts - or laughable reminder that God made our wonderful brain and yet we made this unflushable piece of crap - was left hanging on the assembly line.
Perhaps you think I'm joking. Well, watch this video that captures just the last nearly 3 minutes of our journey together and then repeat that thought. I added some inner monologue just to keep it a little fresh as opposed to, well, having to just watch paint dry. Oh, I forgot to tell you that unless you escort this waste of space all the way from the Concord to Bunker Hill he usually never makes it there. Go figure. Must have been a mole rat somewhere within 50 feet of him along the way.

Let me explain... no, there is too much. Let me summarize. If you really want to see Jules at Bunker Hill then you're probably going to have to do what I did and escort him yourself. Go make a sandwich first, perhaps put on a football game via picture-in-picture, distract yourself with a game of Candy Land, or just drink the journey away with a couple of tall boys while remembering the good times you had playing this game - namely before you ever heard the name Jules. Oh, and for God's sake don't escort him on Survival difficulty unless you just enjoy getting routinely kicked in the nuts by his utter oblivious nature to traps and ambushes. Seriously, I managed to make it to the outer city limits when a mirelurk razorclaw repeatedly made me his bitc- uh, when I defeated the brute in glorious fashion. o_0 I did. And don't even get me started on Tucker memorial Bridge. Actually, that was the highlight of the trip when Jules sprung the trip wire and exploded like a silicon crash test dummy. I'll post a video of that shortly since I'm pretty sure you'll want to see it too after watching this video.
So what was waiting for Jules at Bunker Hill? Apparently an old metal chair (perhaps a former colleague of his who also made it to Bunker Hill, more or less) and a warm drink. Now you know at the cost of 5 minutes of your life that you can't get back. Now you know a taste of my pain...
... I hate Jules.

I also- uh, Jay also has a BS in-" crap, I broke third person narrative. Screw it. I graduated with my BS in Software Engineering in 2011 and have been gaming since I was 4. I'm also handsome and awesome.
