When Freedom Calls… and you can’t answer because the quest is broken!
---------------
NOTE: this broken quest was patched for PS4 players with version 1.02 on December 8, 2015. Please let me know if, after patching your game, it's still broken.
Good hunting, Bethesda!

"Clear Concord of Hostiles."
A simple enough directive, right? Ha ha. Wrong! This was the first broken quest that I've encountered thus far in Fallout 4 and let me say that it sucks. You kill all the baddies only to be stuck with an open quest that failed to trigger when it was completed. What's worse is that this quest opens up a whole group of faction quests, or so I've been told. Sort of like back in the days of landline phones when a caller could accidentally place a receiver on hold right before hanging up thereby blocking said receiver's line from accepting new calls for a certain duration of time. Yeah, just like that actually except we're at the mercy of Bethesda to clear our frickin' line via a patch.
I kept pushing off this blog since I recorded the video for it on Nov 14th because I figured, judging by the number of players who have posted about this bug in other forums coupled with the popularity of this title, it would be patched by now. o_O

For posterity's sake the following are some details regarding my glitched save.
My time with Fallout 4 has been a very fun, albeit frustrating, ride so far. Whatever lies ahead I can only hope it's going to be touched with some more craziness...
- I play on Survival difficulty mode;
- I killed the Deathclaw before getting the power armor in the museum;
- I let the Deathclaw kill several of the raiders; and
- I retrieved the power armor by jumping across the roof of the adjacent church onto the Vertibird's tail (instead of going through the museum door).

"Jay has been a freelance IT specialist for 20 years with a focus on user support and troubleshooting for PCs, laptops, and mobile devices running Windows and Android operating systems. I also- uh, Jay also has a BS in-" crap, I broke third person narrative. Screw it. I graduated with my BS in Software Engineering in 2011 and have been gaming since I was 4. I'm also handsome and awesome.
